A great pub at the centre and in the heart of the community.Ian Hipkiss
We have been coming to The Clock for the past 7 or 8 years. We have always been made welcome with very friendly staff and good food. The pub has a good mixture of locals and holiday trade making for an interesting night out!Ray and Jackie Thompson
I can thoroughly recommend a visit to this family run free house where you are made most welcome, whether a regular or someone just passing through. The food is excellent with a changing daily special board at reasonable prices. For the real ale drinker, there are normally at least two to choose from plus a good selection of lagers and ciders etc all at below average prices. The Clockhouse lives up to its name with over 150 clocks to view while you're enjoying your drink or meal. They have just celebrated their 10th anniversary - that in itself being quite an achievement these days so why not pay a visit and find out for yourself. What a good local pub this is.Brian
Firsly I would like to congratulate you on your new website. It is easy to use and informative. The layout is excellent. Secondly, Linda and I attended your first 'Curry Night' on the 6th of this month. It was a great meal with plenty of choice.I thoroughly recommend it. I trust locals and visitors will support this new venture. Well done all of you. Derek Gould
The clock is a friendly and welcoming pub. The staff are all helpful and, as a member of the self styled '6 o'clock club', I enjoy the company of friends. Good luck with the new website - Derek. The Clock House have taken the local branch of Parkinsons UK under their wing for the past 4 years. They raise funds for us and allow us to have a skittles and lunch club on a regular basis. Our members say that Mike and his team always go the extra mile for us, making us feel very comfortable and at home - Linda.Derek and Linda Gould
I wanted to say a big thank you to you all for the support you and your staff have given to the Bopper Bus, the Chideock Society and The Parish Council throughout the 10 years you have been in the village. You have made such a 'go' of the Clock House and your willingness and generosity to make things pleasant for the various events at the Inn are greatly appreciated. With very best wishes for the next 10 years!Kate Geraghty
Congratulations on ten years Mike, Helen, Eric and Barbara. I just remember so many special times I have had in The Clock when you took over. I will never forget them. Good memories stay with one forever. My best wishes to you all.Carol Hart
Just sampled the new £6 Menu, excellent value for money and very wallet friendly. In the ten years you've been here, we and all our family and friends have always been treated superbly by all your family and staff, let's hope we all grow old together!!! Keep up the good work Chideock needs you and yours! 6th April 2012John,Annette and Matthew Tilley
The Bridport and District Branch of Parkinson's UK were very grateful to everyone at the 'Clock' for allowing us to hold a one-off special meeting when Dr Gregory, Consultant Neurologist spoke to us. We were surprisingly comfortable in the skittle alley and darts area, and were grateful that nobody wished to play at the same time! Our supper of sandwiches and chips rounded off the evening with coffee on top - great. Thank you once again.
This pub feels like home. Staff always greet you and have your preferred drink ready and the prices are extremely reasonable. Good food, good beer, good prices. Great company - don't miss the Clock!Sian and Phil
A true village pub owned by and run by a two generation family and with lovely third generation, school-aged daughters. Excellent food prepared and cooked on the premises and a wide selection of beverages including real ales. The residents of Chideock are fortunate to have such a 'local' and should be a 'must' visit for holidaymakers and passers by.Bob and Val Rivers
Staff are efficient, well mannered and make you feel very welcome. You will only be a stranger but once! Good food and real ales - what you need when you are on a walking holiday.Pauline Joyce
We discovered The Clock some 7 years ago when we used to bring a friend for a pint (he had no transport). From the very begining of our visits we were always made to feel very welcome including our dog. The food is excellent and very good value for money and Mike, Helen and the staff are always willing to accomodate you if you want something a bit different. The Clock has the ambience to suit teens to re-cycled teens.Naomi, Alan & Tyler
Always a friendly welcome at The Clock. Always a cheery thank you and goodbye when you leave. Very competititve prices on real ales - as only a free house can do. Excellent 'value for money' food menu to suite all pockets.John Halett
